The CIHEAM Bari Master Programmes span over one academic year of 9 months, are structured into weekly modules grouped into units and award 60 credits.
Their objective is to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge in the fields of land and water resources management, sustainable integrated pest management and organic agriculture.
Our Master Programmes are jointly organized with the Libera Università Mediterranea (LUM) -Jean Monnet- School of Management; they arerecognized by the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research (MIUR), from the academic year 2015-2016.
They are open to candidates of any nationality.
In particular, courses are addressed to: graduate students, young researchers, extension agents, civil servants, professionals in agriculture and rural development.
The modules include various education activitiesheld by visiting professors and in-house staff: class lectures, field works, practical and lab works, group and individual works.
All classes and activities are conducted in English.
The CIHEAM Bari Master of Science Programmes last two academic years (9 months of the Master Programme plus 12 months of the second academic year) and award 120 credits.
Their objective is to further the theoretical and practical knowledge acquired during the first year in the fields of land and water resources management, sustainable integrated pest management and organic agriculture.
The Master of Science Programmesare structured as follows: successful completion of the CIHEAM Bari Master Degree and attendance of the second year devoted to a supervised research work.
The admission to the second year is decided by an ad-hoc scientific committee on the basis ofcriteria of merit, research topics and financial backing.

Since 2007, CIHEAM Bari has been issuing a Diploma Supplement (DS) to all students who are awarded the Master and Master of Science Diploma.
What is a Diploma Supplement?
The Diploma Supplement (DS) aims at improving international transparency and facilitating the academic and professional recognition of qualifications.
It provides a description of the nature, the level, the context, the content and the status of the studies that were successfully completed by the person concerned.
The Diploma Supplement is not a resume, a diploma, a transcript of records, and it is not an automatic system of recognition.
It consists of eight sections:

4. Information on the grading scheme and results gained
5. Information on the function of the qualification
