Project main activities/Expected output/results

The main project output is the release of n. 1 Joint strategy to develop future urban food policies. This joint strategy will be attained through the capacity building training paths, the capitalization of the Living Lab (LL) approach, the quadruple helix actors’ involvement (businesses, academia, local authorities and citizens), and the capitalization of the results achieved in the two Horizon 2020 projects.

Main goal

The project aims to increase the institutional capacities of medium and small sized cities in South Adriatic area to adopt joint and participatory decision-making processes, based on civil society involvement, and to favour the uptake of food system strategies and urban food policies. The civil society involvement will be ensured by the capitalization of the Living Lab (LL) approach adopted in two Horizon Europe projects, where the local stakeholders, namely the quadruple helix ones (businesses, academia, local authorities and citizens), worked together to adopt innovative solutions to favour the food system transition.
