The initiative aims to improve and diversify the income of the target population (young people, fishermen and women) in the governorates of Gabes and Medenine by strengthening the coastal productive sectors by consolidating organizations, management capacities, knowledge and skills, improving services and infrastructure and promoting new work opportunities for actors involved in respecting the environment. Subsequently, the project aims to strengthen sustainable coastal planning capacity in five pilot regions (Bizerte, Gabes, Médenine, Nabeul and Sfax) through institutional strengthening and dialogue and public-private partnership.
