General Information:  The project aims to improve production techniques and the transfer, sharing and adoption of EU quality standards for the processing and enhancement of typical and traditional products of the agri-food sector and fisheries. The project enhances MSME’s cooperation and competitiveness through better interaction among the business and research actors; moreover the entrepreneurial mind sets, skills and attitudes (mainly in the field of food processing, quality and consumer health) are strengthened. The main outputs consists in a set of selected best practices among the partners, a policy paper harmonized among the countries and adopted in the cross-border area, and a basket of local agri-food and fishery products enhanced thanks to a "Food4Health" label and to promotional events.

General Objective: The overall objective of the project is to enhance the competitiveness of MSMEs and favour the access to the market in the cross-border area through the improvement of production techniques, the transfer, sharing and adoption of European quality standards and the enhancement of typical and traditional products of the agri-food sector and fisheries.

Specific Objectives: To establish common procedures, guidelines and instruments for the valorization of the agri-food and fishery value chain; To ensure knowledge transfer, pilot demonstration projects and innovative solutions for the strengthening of local production system.
