Strategic guidelines and vision are shared for improving the services of urban utility related to waste management and Blue Economy good practices, strengthening the connection between local communities and Institutions. Dakar and Kampala municipalities will acquire knowledge and competence about sustainable development and waste management involving local communities of the coastal and urban area: Best Management Practices. The municipalities increase skills on sustainable waste management and entrepreneurship promotion. Attention is given to the Italian political, institutional and operational guidelines as a tool for conflict prevention, management and resolution in Africa according to the priorities of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation/Directorate General for Global Affairs (MAECI/DGMO).
