On the occasion of the United Nations International Year of Plant Health 2020, Eurisy and Euphresco join forces to promote the operational use of Satellite Remote Sensing to detect, monitor and control plant pests.

The Euphresco 2016-I-226 project ‘The applications of Remote Sensing in Plant Health’, coordinated by CIHEAM Bari, has developed a policy brief with recommendations and conclusions.

The policy brief on ‘Fostering the use of satellite Remote Sensing to support Plant Health surveillance activities', requested by EURISY (https://www.eurisy.org/), has been prepared by EUPHRESCO (https://www.euphresco.net/).

The document will be presented at several events including EXPANDEO #Our Earth Matters meeting (http://expandeo.earsc.org/ ) due to be held in Brussels on 18 June 2020.
